Student Navigation Screen:

Upon first login, students are directed to the Student Navigation Screen. From there, you can choose whether they complete a Placement Test or start directly at a lesson.

After completing the Placement Test, students will return to the Student Navigation Screen.

My Lessons:

My Lessons is the central feature of the Reading Eggs program, consisting of 12 Maps and 120 lessons.

Each lesson begins with a step-by-step demonstration of a core reading skill.

Students then apply this skill through a range of guided practice activities, helping to build deep conceptual knowledge.

Every lesson includes explicit, systematic instruction with complex skills broken into smaller instructional units, as well as immediate feedback to engage early learners.

The sequential, map-based format provides a visual representation of student progress.

Students are rewarded for completing each lesson with a new creature that hatches and becomes part of their online collection.

My Program
This feature is unique to each student and shows the lessons they can do next. It displays recommended books that match the student’s progress and helps determine their weekly program.

My Avatar
A delightful character that students can customize with various features and accessories.

My Eggs
Serves as a motivator in Reading Eggs. Students earn Golden Eggs by completing lessons and activities. These eggs can be used to buy items and play games.

Storylands
Available after lesson 60, this section is ideal for expanding vocabulary and building comprehension skills.

Spelling
Becomes available after lesson 40. Here, students build their spelling skills inside the Skills Bank.

Driving Tests
Available after lesson 40, covering high-frequency sight words, phonic skills, and content-related vocabulary.

The Reading Journal
A special place where students can design their very own reading journal. After reading a book from the Library and completing its quiz, the finished book will appear in their journal. Students can add comments, decorative stickers and other fun elements.

Story Factory
Available after lesson 10, offering an engaging step-by-step guide to writing a story. Students can create, save and submit their stories to a weekly contest.

House
Becomes available after lesson 10. It includes features such as changing avatars, playing games, reading stories from the ‘Story Factory,’ viewing certificates and decorating their house with Shop purchases. Students can also see critters they've encountered in their completed Maps.

Awards
A place where students can celebrate their reading achievements and view all their awards as they progress through completed Maps.

Games
Opens after lesson 6 and contains arcade-style games where students can use their Golden Eggs to play.

Puzzles
Available after lesson 40. Here, students complete challenging word puzzles and earn Golden Eggs as rewards.

Plaza
The go-to place for students to explore, discover, and purchase limited-edition items for their house and avatar using Golden Eggs.

Critters
A collection of critters earned by completing lessons.

Play
A magical room with over 170 activities and books, where students can enjoy music, pictures, puzzles and more.

Songs
A place where students can listen to their favorite songs from their lessons.

Bye
Allows students to log out of Reading Eggs.
